Booking Information for Train Travel to Cannes

We are encouraging all our Ad Net Zero supporters taking part in Cannes Lions to travel via train where possible. Please find below information on how to book tickets and some sustainability facts.

Data from AdGreen, which runs a carbon calculator for the advertising production industry, shows a return train trip from London St Pancras to Cannes emits 10.76kg of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e), whereas a return plane trip from London City airport to the nearest airport, Nice, has over 30 times the impact of taking the train – at 342kg CO2e.*

The Ad Net Zero team will be travelling out on the below train:

Sunday 18 June

Leaving London St Pancras at 12:31 and arriving in Cannes at 22:28

and back on the below train:

Saturday 24 June

Leaving Cannes at 12:33 and arriving in London St Pancras at 20:30

Booking your train travel to Cannes

  • You can book your whole journey from London to Cannes via the Eurostar** website here.
  • When booking via the website you will have to enter names and dates of birth of those travelling.
  • Please note, you will have to change stations in Paris. The Eurostar arrives at Paris Gare du Nord, and the train to Cannes departs from Paris Gare De Lyon. The easiest way to change stations is via the Metro and takes approximately 25 mins. Please find information here on how to do this.
  • If you would prefer to use another way to change stations, please find more information via this link.
  • If you would like to book for a group, this can be done over the phone by calling
    0344 822 4800. When booking this way, you do not need to give the names of your passengers until 48 hours before the train and you can pay via bank transfer.
  • Please note that you can only book the Eurostar leg of your journey by phone and will have to book your Paris to Cannes trains separately via Trainline or another third-party booking site.
  • If you plan to book via phone, please ensure you book the same train from Paris to Cannes as shown on the Eurostar website to allow enough time to change stations.
