• Monika Magyar: Senior Legal Advisor, European Association of Communications Agencies (EACA)
Mónika is an adept legal services professional with a specialised focus on EU and public affairs. Her experience spans several sectors, including working with EU institutions, educational organizations, and international media companies. She has a particular expertise in Artificial Intelligence regulation and international relations, reflecting her commitment to aligning policy initiatives with technological advancements. Additionally, she has been contributing to the work of the Oxford Cyber Academy enhancing awareness of online risks and promoting best practices in digital safety. Previously, Mónika served as a legal advisor for the Association of Commercial Television in Europe (ACTE), where she headed the Advertising and Revenue Taskforce and contributed to shaping policies on digital media and compliance standards. Mónika is Hungarian national and works in English. As we approach the Hungarian Presidency, her extensive experience and governmental connections will be a great asset to our association.
• Justine Grimley: Senior Regulatory Policy Executive, Advertising Standards Authority (ASA)
Justine is an Operations Manager at the ASA. She is a Project Manager on the ASA’s Climate Change and the Environment project (CCE) and responsible for the oversight of the ASA’s environmental casework. To date the ASA has explored environmental claims in several areas, including energy, transport, green disposal methods, food (dairy / plant based alternatives and agriculture) and fashion.
• Corinne Hanson: Head of Policy & Sustainability, Greenplaces (US)
As the VP of Sustainability for Greenplaces, Corinne Hanson oversees a team of carbon accountants in developing GHG inventories for a wide range of clients. She leads all emissions reduction strategy development and reporting efforts. An East Coast native now based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Corinne brings over a decade of experience as a sustainable business specialist with a background in public policy, coalition building and emissions reduction strategies. She believes that business is an essential driver for positive change and possesses deep expertise in sustainability strategy and helping companies navigate the challenges inherent to building a sustainable economy.
Corinne was most recently the Head of Sustainability and Impact for SH Hotels. In this mission-driven sustainable hotel company, she lead their sustainability strategy, analytics, employee engagement, communications, and reporting work. Before joining SH Hotels & Resorts, Corinne spent 6 years with Sustainability in San Francisco, CA, where she was the primary architect and advisor for over 20 sustainability projects for Fortune 500 companies including Facebook, Starbucks, AMD, Nestlé, and McDonald’s. Prior, she worked with the Natural Resources Defense Council in Washington, D.C., where she co-managed NRDC’s Global Water Project and executed legislative and political actions to ensure the protection of our water, air, lands, and communities.
